The Palm Beach Post reported that a 33 year old man from Boynton Beach was driving through Boca Raton on a Monday morning in wet road conditions. The victim apparently lost control at some point near the 9800 block of Clint Moore Road in Boca Raton. The Palm Beach Sheriff’s Office investigators believe as he was attempting to merge into another lane, he lost control, went onto the median, and struck a tree at approximately 8:32 am. He was taken to Delray Community Hospital and pronounced dead shortly afterwards from the injuries caused by the impact. The car was a Mercedes Benz E50, and it was unknown whether any kind of malfunctioning or other problems with the vehicle contributed to the crash at the time the story was reported.
